09 MayStart Out Safety: free road safety education training delivered by ECEC experts
This free Starting Out Safety training is part of Victoria’s early childhood road safety education program and is presented by some of Australia’s leading early childhood experts.
It is about children, families, carers and early childhood educators working together to guide children’s learning in being and becoming safe and independent road users.
We share practical strategies to support young children’s learning about road safety, based on the latest evidence-based research. The sessions identify how road safety education links to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the National Practices for Early Childhood Road Safety Education.
After you have completed this professional development session, you can send your timetable as part of the eligibility to access the associated ThingleToodle education session for funded 4-year-old kindergarten programs.
