Description Role Overview
  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate early childhood educator who can join our team as an Inclusion Support Educator. You will work in the Kindergarten room with two ECT's to provide direct support to children with additional needs.
  • Support the inclusion of children with additional needs to be involved in the kindergarten program
  • Must be experienced working with children with ASD
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children
  • Contribute to the educational program under the direction of the Lead Educator to provide a high-quality program for all children
  • Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Follow the direction and lead of the Educational leader
  • Current work days 12pm-5pm Wed & Thur with an increase of hours and days in the future.
About You:
  • Punctual, reliable
  • Experience essential, must have initiative to learning routines quickly and communicate effectively across the team.
  • The applicant must hold Cert III or Diploma Qualification, Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training, food Handlers Cert, Mandatory Reporting.
  • Potential to extend to permanent position
  • Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, NQF, Child Safe standards
