Description Glen Education are currently seeking two Early Childhood Educators (Cert III) to join our Orrong Road Kindergarten team. For more information about Glen Education, visit gleneducation.org.au About the position Glen Education are seeking two to three enthusiastic and confident educators for Certificate III positions. The successful applicants will be working in an experienced and passionate team with 3-5 year olds. One position will fall on various am/pm shifts Mondays to Fridays by negotiation plus additional planning time. Shift times typically start 8am to 1pm and 12pm to 415pm. To be eligible to apply for a position at Glen Education, you need to have the following:
  • An Early Childhood Education certificate, diploma, degree or equivalent, as approved by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • Must hold a valid and current Working with Children Clearance or VIT registration (provisional or full registration)
  • Must hold a current (not older than 6 months) National Police Check
  • Must hold a valid and current First Aid (Education and Care Setting), CPR and Child Protection certificates
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster dose), or have an approved medical exemption
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current best practice that is reflective of the approved National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to deliver high quality education
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and confidence to engage with a diverse range of people
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate a positive work culture and be solution focused in thinking and practice
