Description
We are seeking an Experienced, highly motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and lead the development and implementation of a quality, developmentally appropriate program for the children in our multi-aged group. This role is also for a Nominated Supervisor and prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have sessional kindergarten experience and be able to demonstrate the following;
- The ability to plan and implement a high-quality early childhood program appropriate to the developmental needs and interests of the children attending the program
- Ensuring the program reflects the service’s philosophy and is consistent with the EYM's policies
- Demonstrated knowledge of the VEYLDF / EYLF and the NQS
- Develop, record and maintain specific records of individual children and share this information with parents as appropriate
- The ability to effectively communicate with children, families, staff and professionals
- An awareness of current research, theories and best practice models in early childhood education
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold an approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Education & Care
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Hold and maintain First Aid qualification and have current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
- Complete annual Child Protection Training
- Be committed to continuous learning and professional development
