About the Centre/Service
Grange Road Kindergarten is a committee-managed community kindergarten, situated in Bayside Sandringham. We pride ourselves on our 3-year-old, 4-year-old, and Extended Hours programs, and our beautiful outdoor play space.
Grange Road Kindergarten provides children with an environment that encourages and stimulates their development and builds self-confidence and social skills in readiness for the step into a more formal learning environment at school.
At our kindergarten, the program and the environment are determined by the children’s needs and interests. Activities are based on play, which is central to the lives of all children; it is a natural behaviour through which children learn most effectively. For play to develop, children need adults who respect, value, resource and facilitate their play.

Description
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Educator to join our team in the 3YO Green Group.
In 2025, this role is an additional assistant role (above ratio) and the hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am -2.30pm (some flexibility).
Moving into 2026, this role shift into the role of co-educator (as the group size increases to 25) and an additional educator is required. In 2026, the program will be delivered on Wednesday and Thursday and will run 8.30am - 4.00pm.
This role is available to commence in Term 3.
A Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate 111 in Children's Services qualification is essential.
