Participants of this session will have the opportunity to examine strategies around planning for children and interpersonal interactions which can prevent or reduce anxiety and agitation. This highlights the importance of creating a ‘safe sanctuary’ within our rooms. Jo Lange will discuss the importance of tracking and mapping children’s behaviour in determining a ‘solutions’ based approach to interactions and planning.
