What is Autism Spectrum Disorder and Positive Behaviour Support – an overview

This seminar will help you develop an understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and how it may impact upon children’s learning and behaviour.

This session will help participants develop a deeper understanding of ASD. Practical strategies will be explored providing tips and tools to support teachers and educators working with children with ASD.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Autism Spectrum Australia (ASPECT) is the one of the largest providers of disability services in the country, with eight schools and services for children, teenagers, adults, families and carers and professionals. ASPECT delivers the largest autism specific education program in the world, helping more than 10,000 people with autism or other disabilities and their families every year. Combining evidence informed practice, thinking and knowledge, and drawing upon 50 years of experience in partnership with people on the autism spectrum and their families, ASPECT deliver practical, real-world solutions to benefit families, communities, professionals and organisations.
