We are looking for a talented and dedicated 3-Year-Old Early Childhood Teacher to join our friendly and passionate team at Yarram Early Learning Centre in delivering a high quality kinder program!
Our service is an approved recipient of location based incentives for Early Educators – meaning, attractive bonuses of up to $21,000 are available for eligible successful applicants.
Yarram Early Learning Centre Inc. is situated in the rural town of Yarram, Victoria in beautiful South East Gippsland. The centre has a Committee of Management and has operated long day care and kindergarten services in the Yarram area since 2015.
Being a 75 place centre with 2 rooms open and an expansion project commenced, YELC is looking ahead to exciting developments.

We are looking for a talented and dedicated 3-Year-Old Early Childhood Teacher to join our friendly and passionate team at Yarram Early Learning Centre. We are looking for:
- Passion for AND experience in a teaching role in Early Childhood Education
- Sound knowledge of curriculum and programming
- Passion and drive for providing a high-quality educational program
- Understanding of interesting and challenging learning environments
- Knowledge in the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards, and a shared accountability for the standard of programs and experiences at Yarram Early Learning Centre
- Understanding the importance of building strong partnerships with families and communities.
- An ACECQA approved Degree in Early Childhood (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA) and VIT Registration (Provisional is acceptable)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to converse with a wide range of audiences professionally and effectively
- The ability to work cooperatively within a team and as a leader, with accountability and transparency
- Planning and organisational skills, as well as the administration skills to ensure these tasks are to an appropriate (audit compliant) and industry standard
- Current knowledge of stages of physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and cultural development of children
- Current knowledge of health, hygiene and nutrition needs of children, with responsibility for our continued compliance, safeguarding and maintenance of standards and processes in these areas

- Demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education, with working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults and capacity for conflict resolution.
- An ACECQA approved Degree in Early Childhood (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA) as well as VIT Registration (Provisional is acceptable)
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and the ability to liaise, both externally and internally, with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners
- Highly desired - Sound working knowledge of Professional industry Standards, Child Safety Regulations and legislative requirements under which the Early Years’ Service operates, in particular the Children’s Services Act and Regulations 2011.
- Highly desired - A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and an ability to manage a high-quality educational program that reflects the diverse nature of the service and our community.
