About the Centre/Service
Box Hill South Pre School is a warm and inviting, not for profit Community Kindergarten. We offer an exciting, engaging and stimulating play-based program delivered by enthusiastic and passionate educators for sessional 3YO and 4YO groups.
Our purpose-built kindergarten is situated in a peaceful and natural setting and shares the wonderful facilities of Box Hill South Family Centre.
Our large, bright playroom and spacious outdoor play area allow every child the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential, and the warm and caring environment created by our dedicated teaching team
Box Hill South Pre-School is committed to providing a child safe environment where children and young people are safe and feel safe, and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives. Particular attention will be paid to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as the safety of children with a disability.

Description
Additional Educator - funded by School Readiness Funding (SRF) - to support our ECT and Educators in the 4 YO group (28 children per day), possibly a morning in the 3 year old group.
Fixed Term for the remainder of 2025 with possibility of continuing Educator role in 2026.
We are looking for a warm, energetic and motivated Cert III or Diploma Educator for our 4 year old group. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching team to support the diverse learning needs of the group in small and large groups settings. Interest in child wellbeing, communication and building positive relationships with children a must. The Educator will report to the Nominated Supervisor.
You must have a sound knowledge of the EYLF and the NQF, Educational and Care Services Laws and Regulations.
This role may suit a student or an educator wanting family friendly hours.
Qualifications
Cert III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA recognised equivalent)
Working with Children Check (Employee)
Current first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management training
Current Mandatory Reporting Certificate
Sound working knowledge Early Years Framework, Reportable Conduct Scheme, Child Safety Standards and Child Information Sharing Scheme
Current National Police Check
