About the Centre/Service
Thomastown Childcare & Kindergarten is a 35 place, Community Childcare Centre and Non Profit Organisation.
We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We have been in operation for over 30 years and managed by a Parent Committee. We have 3 Children's Rooms catering for Babies, Toddlers and Kindergarten which is run by our ECT. We are a small team of dedicated staff who have been at the centre for a number of years. We are a play based learning centre and committed to providing high quality of care for each child.

Description
We are looking for a casual/relief Educator to work with all age groups (0 to 5 year old Children.)
The hours and days will vary each week.
Availability between our operational hours 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with children in a positive and caring manner
Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all children
**Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard and Child Safe Standards
Collaborate with colleagues to support the needs of the children
Maintain a clean and organized childcare space.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Qualifications
Requirements:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Current Working with Children Check
First Aid , CPR Certification and Anaphylaxis Certification
