About the Centre/Service We have several casual relief staff vacancies across the eastern suburbs at the following locations: Doncaster, Kallista, The Patch, Lilydale North and Bayswater North. Hours will vary depending on the sessions offered at each kindergarten, generally ranging from 5 - 8 hours per day (when required). Description The Role: As a casual employee at EV Early Years, you will have the chance to: Create Inspiring Learning Experiences, Build Strong Relationships, Collaborate and Grow your Knowledge and Ensure Safety and Compliance.  About You: You’re a motivated, caring educator with a passion for working with young children and supporting their growth. You’re seeking flexibility and career development opportunities. Ideally, you possess:
  • A Certificate 3, or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • A solid understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and VEYLDF frameworks.
  • The ability to create engaging, child-focused learning experiences.
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), current First Aid certification, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain them).
  • A friendly, collaborative attitude and the ability to engage with diverse age groups and settings.

Qualifications
  • Applicants must hold an approved Certificate, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check
  • Hold and maintain First Aid qualification and have current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
  • Complete annual Child Protection Training
  • Be committed to continuous learning and professional development
