About the Centre/Service
KCCC is a not for profit community based service providing families with long day care and an integrated 3 & 4 year old Kindergarten program. KCCC has the reputation for providing a happy, warm, safe and caring environment where children develop as individuals and have exposure to a wide range of learning experiences. Our children are encouraged to immerse themselves in play and we are looking for a Centre Manager who is committed to fostering our holistic practices. Description
In an endeavour to further our operational excellence, KCCC is seeking a dynamic Centre Manager to lead our organisation in the provision of sector leading early years programs and services. This person has the responsibility for enhancing the individuals and groups in the organisation including children, families, staff, Committee of Management and the community. You will be supported by an established leadership team including Office Manager and Educational Leader.
As Centre Manager you will:
* Report/collaborate to the Committee of Management
* Ensure that the organisation remains financially sustainable
* Meet all compliance obligations
* Support staff to grow their professional skills
* Ensure effective operation of all aspects of the service (supported by the leadership team)
* Comply with KCCC's child safety policies and all policies and procedures
* Support the implementation of the National Quality Standards, Regulations and Laws, Child Safe Standards, WorkSafe procedures.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing an early childhood education service, leading the implementation of high quality education and care and innovative programs for children which reflect the diversity of the local community and families. The next Centre Manager will build upon KCCC's commitment to best practices in early childhood education and care.
You will:
* Hold a Diploma or higher Early Years qualification
* 5+ years experience in leadership
* Certifications include WWCC, police check and current First Aid
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Extensive knowledge of NQS and EYLF
* Proven ability to lead strategy and innovation
* Sound understanding of regulatory compliance and child safety
* Demonstrated practice in finance and budget creation
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams and an understanding of management systems such as Xero, Smart Central, Kim's
Qualifications
Diploma in Early Childhood or higher
