About the Centre/Service Crossway Preschool is a community kindergarten situated in a busy part of Brighton, on Bunurong country. Description Crossway Preschool is looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This is a maternity leave position, commencing in August 2025 until December 2026. This role involves planning and implementing a high quality, play-based educational program for our 3-year-old group. Crossway Preschool staff are supported by a full-time Director who oversees the day-to-day administration and running of the preschool, together with members of the preschool Board. There is opportunity to increase hours of employment and teach the Activity Group. More information can be provided on enquiry. Please contact the Preschool Director. Qualifications Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

Additional Requirements To be successful, you need to also: • Demonstrate experience in early childhood education and working in a small and supportive team environment. • Demonstrate ability to plan and deliver a high-quality educational program. • Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff. • Have sound documentation skills and a willingness to be progressive and critically reflective. • Share our values and be willing to continue growing in teaching practices. • Current first aid and CPR training, Emergency management of asthma and anaphylaxis training, Protecting Children – Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector training.
