We are delighted to offer an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to become an integral part of Kirrip Kindergarten. As a successful candidate, you will be engaged under the VECTEA award, enjoying a fulfilling part-time role offering a minimum of 22.5hrs a week over 2 full days. Working with two experienced assistants, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of 33 children. Who on earth are we? Kirrip Kindergarten, opened in 2022, is an integral part of the Kirrip Community Center. Our kindergarten features three well-equipped rooms, a shared outdoor yard, and a close-knit team. Qualifications What do we hope you'll bring?
  • Legal right to live and work in Australia.
  • At least a year or two of professional experience as an ECT (Have more than that? Or just starting out, we'd love to hear from you too!)
  • Be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Driver's license and a car, with the willingness to travel to our various sites.
  • Be able to share stories on how you embody the spirit of fun, creativity, and warmth. How you bring joy through storytelling, embrace the wonder of childhood, and create laughter-filled experiences.
  • A passion for inspiring young minds and a playful spirit.
  • Needless to say, we're looking for someone with good English-language writing abilities, an understanding to the National Quality Framework and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of EYLF, Child Safe standards and Child Development.
  • Police Check (International Police check if you have lived outside Australia in the last 5 years)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma quals along with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
