Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Educational Leader to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children in our care. As an Educational Leader, you will play a key role in guiding our educators, implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate programs, and ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. This is a leadership position that requires a blend of expertise, passion, and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education programs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs that are inclusive, child-centered, and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Support the development of individual learning plans for children, ensuring their holistic development is fostered.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment where ideas and initiatives are shared.
- Act as a key point of contact for families, providing regular updates and maintaining strong relationships.
- Lead the development and maintenance of documentation in accordance with the National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Promote and model best practices in pedagogy and curriculum development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in an early childhood education leadership role.
- A deep understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and current early childhood education policies.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certification.
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
