Community Kinders Plus (CKP) is a Place Based, Not for Profit Early Years Manager which commenced operation in 2012.
CKP currently manages 26 kindergartens across Frankston, the Mornington Peninsula and the City of Kingston.

Description
About the role
We are seeking an experienced early childhood teacher, educator, manager or team leader to join our team as the Kindergarten Support Officer. This is an ongoing role of 38 hours per week.
Ideally suited to someone with 4 to 5 years’ experience in the early childhood sector.
You will need to have a strong understanding of what is needed in managing a kindergarten on a day-to-day basis. You must also be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong technical and organisational skills and the ability to be part of a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the provision of relief staff, in conjunction with McArthur Management Services.
- Providing support to the Enrolment Officer, in the enrolling of children in CKP services, use of enrolment programs and the Kindergarten Information Management program.
- Maintenance requests from the kindergarten services – this will include the lodging of the request with the appropriate local council and liaison with the council to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Liaison with the relevant cleaning company of the kindergarten services and to oversee this process.
- Auditing and overseeing the provision and collection of the kindergarten keys.
- Liaising with Frankston City Council, the Mornington Peninsula Shire and City of Kingston relevant personnel.
- Assisting in the necessary tasks to ensure the timely and accurate transfer and set up of new kindergarten services.
- Assist in ensuring the kindergarten services are compliant in regard to the Education and Care National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011
- Consistently provide a high standard of customer service.
- Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and/or CEO.
- Experience in a leadership role in an early childhood service.
- Excellent knowledge of the Kindergarten Funding Guide, National Quality Framework, Child Safe Standards and relevant legislation.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office, in particular, Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and data inputting with high levels of accuracy.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidentiality, sensitivity, and integrity across all aspects of the role.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and be comfortable working in a changing and fast paced working environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with initiative & flexibility, as well as cooperatively as part of a team and manage own workload.
- Previous role in an Early Years Management organisation or similar.
- Full time – 38 hours per week
- 6.30am – 2.24pm
- 6.30am – 9.30am in term time.
- 9.30am – 2.24pm
- Your workdays will consist of three days in the office and two days working from home. Two of the office days must be a Tuesday and Friday.
