Description
BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages Kindergartens and Child Care centres in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. We are one of the largest providers of Early Childhood education and care services in Victoria, delivering quality programs that meet the needs of each child and the wider community. We're currently seeking a Long Daycare Educator (Diploma Not In Charge) to support the delivery of a quality education program at Phoenix Street Children's Centre located in Sunshine North.
- Assist with daily routines and the provision of a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for the children and families attending the service as directed by the Room Leader.
- Contribute to the planning cycle, by documenting spontaneous learning experiences and modifications.
- Assist in working with individual and small groups of children.
- Attend to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children as required.
- Ensure that any child or group of children are adequately supervised, and that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect them from any hazard.
Qualifications
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid certification.
- The right to work in Australia.
