Description
BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages Kindergartens and Long Day Care Centres in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Being one of the largest providers of Early Childhood education and care services in Victoria, we deliver quality programs that meet the needs of each child and the wider community.
We're currently seeking a Long Day Care Educator (Diploma Qualified) to support the delivery of a quality education program at Brookfield Children's Centre.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assist with daily routines and the provision of a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for the children and families attending the service as directed by the Room Leader.
- Contribute to the planning cycle, by documenting spontaneous learning experiences and modifications.
- Assist in working with individual and small groups of children.
- Attend to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children as required.
- Ensure that any child or group of children are adequately supervised and that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect them from any hazard.
Qualifications
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
- Current Working with Children Check and a Police Check are mandatory.
- Current First Aid certification.
- The right to work in Australia.
