Description
Yarrambat Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team. We are looking for someone with experience and knowledge in the sessional/community kindergarten space.
At Yarrambat Preschool, we value versatility and teamwork. In addition to your primary role, there is also the opportunity for a dual contract. This means you'll have the chance to support our team in the classrooms when needed.
Organisational Relationship:
- The Manager is accountable to, reports to, and takes direction from the committee of management (employer).
- The Manager will collaborate closely with the Educational Leader, accounts manager, and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of Yarrambat Preschool.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Previous experience and knowledge of sessional/community kindergarten.
- Qualifications suitable for an early childhood teacher/educator under the Education and Care Services National law and regulations.
- Familiar with OWNA software
- Ability to fill the position of Nominated Supervisor or be nominated as a person in a leadership position responsible for day-to-day operations.
- Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent).
- Current or approved first aid qualification, approved anaphylaxis management qualification, and approved emergency asthma management qualification, in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and service policies.
- Strong capacity for independent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Current WWCC, First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis (desirable)

Must have experience working with a Committee of Management in a community Kidergarten setting.
