About the Centre/Service
Aspendale Gardens Community Service is looking for an educator to join our kindergarten team.
We are a bit different to other sessional kindergartens, as we operate within the Aspendale Gardens Community Service. This means our families benefit from other programs and activities in the centre such as playgroup, messy play, children’s events and school holiday activities. When the children finish at kinder, many stay engaged through basketball, dancing, karate and more.
We have a team of 14 staff, which includes our fabulous and supportive office team, Centre Manager and an off-the-floor Nominated Supervisor. The service is operated under the volunteer board of management model. Our kindergarten has been recently rated as exceeding in 5 of the 7 areas of the NQS.
Aspendale Gardens Community Service is a child safe organisation. Applicants will be required to present their working with children check and provide current referees. Our team undertake regular child protection training, adhere to Child Safe Standards and have zero tolerance for child abuse.
AGCS is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from people from culturally diverse backgrounds, linguistically diverse people, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, members of the LGBTIQA+ communities and people with disabilities.
