About the Centre/Service Sparkways has opened the new Murnong Kindergarten in Term 1 2024. Co-located with the Donnybrook Primary School at 145 Olivine Boulevard, Donnybrook, the kindergarten has opened as a 1 room kindergarten, and expanding to a 3-room kindergarten within the next few years.
Work Days of the Role Tuesdays
Hours of Work of the Role 13.25 hours per week
Description Join us to spark curious, creative & confident children as one of the establishing Early Childhood Teachers at our new sessional kindergarten at Donnybrook.
  • Murnong Kindergarten - opening Term 1 2024
  • Team Teacher - 11.25 hours per week - Tuesday sessions with the children
  • Education Leader - additional 2 hours per week
  • Additional hours available as relief teacher at Sparkways' 12 kindergartens in the northern suburbs
  • Start 15 April or soon after
Sparkways has opened the new Murnong Kindergarten in Term 1 2024. Co-located with the Donnybrook Primary School at 145 Olivine Boulevard, Donnybrook, the kindergarten is opening as a 1 room kindergarten, and expanding to a 3-room kindergarten within the next few years.

Available position:

  • Team Teacher for Tuesdays with multi-age group
  • 11.25 hours per week - planning day is flexible
  • Education Leader - additional 2 hours per week
  • Roster: Tue - 8.15 am to 4.30 pm + 3 hours planning on another day
 

We want to meet you:

  • Are you a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher with full VIT registration?
  • Can you contribute to establishing a new kindergarten - QIP, staff support, administration and community develeopment?
  • Do you have practical expertise in including children with additional needs?
  • Do you have the skills to role model excellence in teaching - scaffolding and documenting children's learning in play based, child led pedagogy?
  • Can you lead and contribute to a child-centred, friendly team?
  • Do people describe you as positive and energetic?
  • Are you seeking part-time work with paid time off over the term breaks?
  • Do you want to work in a kindergarten close to home?
