Description Join us to spark curious, creative & confident children as Early Childhood Teacher at our sessional kindergarten at Deanside.

Available position:

  • Join a busy 2 room kindergarten with 4 groups
  • Teaching - 4-year-old Yellow Group - 33 children
  • Total 24.75 hours per week
  • Sessions Mon, Wed & Fri - 8.30 am to 1.30 pm
  • Roster hours: Mon, Wed, Fri - 8.15 am to 2.00 pm plus 8.25 hours planning on-site (flexible schedule)

Experienced sessional kindergarten teacher needed for complex group
  • Are you a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher?
  • Do you have Full VIT registration and enjoy mentoring graduate teachers and educators?
  • Do you have practical expertise in including children with additional needs?
  • Do you have the skills to role model excellence in teaching - scaffolding and documenting children's learning in play based, child led pedagogy?
  • Can you contribute to a child-centred, friendly team?
  • Do people describe you as positive and energetic?
  • Would you like to join a community of passionate and like-minded ECEC professionals?
  • Do you want career progression opportunities, while also working close to your community?
