About the Centre/Service
We are a community based, not for profit, 53 place long day care centre run by a Committee of Management with a current rating of Exceeding. We seek a passionate and experienced cook/chef to join our dedicated and friendly team.

Description
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Prepare nutritious meals which meet the needs of children, including those with special dietary requirements
- Adhere to the centre’s Food Safety Plan and maintain food safety records
- Order food supplies
- Work effectively as a member of a centre team
Qualifications
- Food Handlers certificate
- Food Supervision Certificate (preferable)
- Allergen Awareness Certificate

Additional Requirements
• Knowledge of safe food handling and nutrition
• Knowledge of food allergies and intolerances
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Early Childhood field (preferable)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
