Our community based center provides high quality education and care for children aged 3-6 years in a stimulating indoor and leafy green outdoor learning environments. Natural play opportunities are highly valued and promoted in our programs.

We are supported by a voluntary parent Committee of Management, we run state-funded 4 year old Kindergarten sessions as well as Long Day Care programs for 3 to 5 year olds.

East Brunswick Kindergarten and Childcare Center is seeking a dedicated and creative early childhood Cert 111 or Diploma qualified educator to join our professional and experienced team in a funded additional worker position. The successful applicant will be working as part of an experienced team in a intergrated 3 year old kindergarten early learning group.
The casual part time position of 18 hours per week is on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30am to 4pm. The position commences ASAP and finishes on the 19th of December 2022.
Further ongoing casual hours during the week may become available to cover for center staff leave.
The successful applicant will be valued for their contribution to center practices, philosophy and educational programs in a supportive working environment.
Essential criteria include:
- Cert 111 or Diploma qualified educator
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current ‘Working With Children’ check
- A commitment to continuous learning, best practice and achieving high quality service delivery and a sound knowledge of the National and Victorian Early Years Frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with families, children and colleagues
- Be able to work effectively in a team
- Commitment to Child Safe policy
- Proof of 3 Covid vaccinations required
