About the Centre/Service
Northern Schools Early Years Cluster Inc. (NSEYC) is an Early Years Management group based in the municipalities of Hume and Moreland in Melbourne's North. NSEYC manages and supports ten kindergartens, setting the highest standard of professionalism in early year's education in partnership with the schools.

Description
Reporting to the Board, the CEO helps shape the development of NSEYC's direction and works closely with educational leaders and the community to deliver exceptional learning and life experiences for local children. The CEO executes the strategic direction set by the Board and leads all aspects of the group's operations with "hands on" accountability for strategic planning, operational and financial management and stakeholder management.
As the most senior leadership position in NSEYC, the CEO engenders respects for NSEYC's capabilities in setting the highest standard of professionalism, responsive management and inclusive early year's education in partnership with its communities.
The primary objectives of the NSEYC CEO are to:
- Lead NSEYC's kindergartens to ensure children have the learning, development and wellbeing outcomes they need for school and life
- provide consistent services that exceed quality standards and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements
- set strategic and operational direction to advance NSEYC's mission and objectives
- Manage NSEYC's operations and performance with excellent business and financial discipline
- Position NSEYC as the early learning provider of choice in the community and at the forefront of the early learning sector
- Manage the HR for the NSEYC.
Qualifications
Formal qualifications in Education (Early Childhood) and formal qualifications in management (desirable).

Demonstrated ability to review, develop and implement improved systems and processes to enhance the organisation's efficiency and effectiveness and successfully manage change.
Experienced and skilled in preparing reports and presenting to Board of Directors and fostering effective and productive relationships with Board.
Experienced ins strategic and operational planning skills, including planning and leading through change.
Adept at fostering effective, multi-faceted relationships and building the brand and reputation capital. Demonstrated the capability to lead and develop staff in order to deliver the organisational goals.
