About the Centre/Service
Watsonia North Preschool Inc. is a community-based Parent Committee run Preschool. We believe that the Early years of Education provide a great foundation for future learning and relationships. We respect and celebrate the diversity that every family can bring into our kindergarten program.
We are looking for a part time Early Childhood Educators to join our team in 2020 who is fun, energetic and enthusiastic; who can create a stimulating and nurturing and Child-safe learning environment for our 3 year old children. The position is a fixed term maternity leave role, commencing the start of Term 1 2020, and concluding the end of Term 4 2020.

Description
3yo Group Co-Educator Role
Hours required as per the VECTEA 2016
- Monday: 8am - 12pm
- Wednesday: 1.15pm - 5.15pm - this is contact and non-contact hours
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- A minimum Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent teaching qualifications approved by ACECQA
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Excellent communication skills to be able to relate equally well with children and their parents/guardians
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis training and Asthma Management Training
- Current Working with Children Check
- Team Player
