Doris Blackburn Preschool has been providing quality, affordable education for 3 and 4 year old children in the local area for 75 years. We are an independent, community based centre that encourages our children to engage in a play based program making their learning meaningful, relevant, interesting and imaginative.

Description
The Cert 111 educator will work under the direction of a qualified teacher and be part of a team of 3 educators providing a developmentally appropriate program for 4 year old children.
You will be required to work in a professional manner at all times and ensure the service meets the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, Education and Care Services National Regulations, the relevant curriculum framework, the Quality Improvement Plan and the policies and procedures of the centre.

Additional Requirements
Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communications skills to work cooperatively, productively and respectfully with the Committee of Management, Educators, children and their families. Able to demonstrate the ability to provide safe and high quality care within the educational program that assists with the development of children attending the centre. Able to demonstrate an understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
