Description Our Community Managed Centre is seeking a Passionate Educational Leader to join our team Full Time. The successful applicant will be leading our educational program, supporting and mentoring all educators and building strong connections with children, families and the community. The role will be a Management role with both contact and non-contact responsibilities which will allow you the flexibility to share your own passion, knowledge and focus on areas that are important to you as an educator, teacher and professional.   • Experience in an Educational Leader role
  • An ability to build, mentor and lead teams
  • An ability to promote best practice and work within a strong leadership team
  • Experience maintaining strong and meaningful relationships with children and families
  • Experience within long day care and kindergarten settings
  • Experience in leading and contributing to the cycle of observation and planning
  • Knowledge of providing safe, sustainable and inclusive environments for children
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • A sound knowledge of the VEYLDF,EYLF, NQF and Kinder funding guidelines
  • A minimum of Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
  • Availability to work eight hour shifts between 7:00am-6:00pm and occasionally outside of hours events (paid)

Qualifications Applicants must hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent recognised (by ACECQA) qualification, A current Working with Children's Check, VIT registration, current First Aid and current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training. Applicants with a minimum 50% and a commitment to completion may be considered.
