10 AugAdvocating to secure a quality, sustainable workforce
ELAA attended a workshop hosted by Minister Anne Aly on 10 August to advocate for key solutions to support the early childhood sector, and to inform the minister’s thinking prior to the Jobs Summit. The roundtable provided the opportunity for ELAA to raise issues around the importance of pay and conditions to be supported at a Federal Government level, drawing on the success of the VECTEA, and for teacher training models that enable students to combine work and study, as well as renewed attention to the quality of higher education and VET qualifications.
