17 NovCelebrating Early Years Awards winners

ELAA would like to congratulate the winners of the 2022 Victorian Early Years Awards which were announced on Wednesday, 9 November 2022 by the Victorian Minister for Early Childhood and Pre-Prep, Ingrid Stitt.  

Six organisations and two early childhood teachers have been recognised for their achievements and contributions to leadership, outstanding achievement, and innovation in improving outcomes for Victorian children and their families.

Three of our members were recognised at the awards. We congratulate all finalists and winners, however, would like to extend our very proud congratulations to ELAA members recognised on the night:  

  • Awarded The Emeritus Professor Collette Tayler Excellence in Educational Leadership Award: Nature Kinder Program – Gold Street Children’s Centre – Keele Street Campus 
  • Awarded for Continuity of Early Learning: Buninyong Uniting Kindergarten’s transition to school program, Buninyong Uniting Kindergarten in partnership with Buninyong Primary School 
  • Julie Fitt is the Director of St Colombus Uniting Kindergarten. Julie was identified as a finalist in the Early Childhood Teacher of the Year category.

It is great to celebrate our members when they are awarded and acknowledged across the sector. We celebrate the hard work all of you do and think it is wonderful to see these efforts recognised publicly.
