Tim is well-placed to lead the ELAA team as the we continue our collaborative work with members, partners and government to deliver on our collective vision of excellence and equity in early childhood education and care.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work with the ELAA team and members in this critical time for the early childhood education and care sector. As a parent of children who benefited enormously from their time at community kindergartens, I know first-hand the powerful impact that excellent early childhood education and care has,” Tim shared.

Tim has been appointed for an initial term of six months and officially commenced in the role on Monday, 3 June.

The Board is also pleased to announce that Andrew Hume, outgoing CEO of Early Childhood Management Services, and a noted leader in the sector, will play an advisory role supporting Tim in the coming months. Andrew’s extensive knowledge of the early childhood education and care sector will be a valuable asset to ELAA through this period, and we welcome his continued contribution.
