20 DecELAA’s Governance Training in 2023
ELAA, in partnership with The Victorian Department of Education has held 17 live, webinar governance sessions in the past year which have been attend by hundreds of volunteers on the Committee of Management of Early Childhood Services as well as members of the leadership team from all around Victoria.
These sessions aim to provide committee members, the knowledge and information they need to effectively manage and operate the early childhood service. We know how valuable these sessions are and look forward to hosting them again for 2023. The dates for these sessions will be released in January so do look out for more information via ELAAvate.
Governance training in 2023 will look a little different next year as we add on to the current webinars, recorded resources that will be easily accessible as 10-15 minute videos. These videos will provide a deeper dive into a specific areas of governance for a committees of management while the live webinars will broadly cover the responsibilities that the committee of management have and provide opportunities to ask questions and network. Together, committee members will have resources at their fingertips – readily accessible and relevant to their role and the current landscape of early childhood in Victoria.
Over the Christmas break, our range of Governance Training self-paced online webinars are readily available and can be accessed at any time. Topics include governance information and management, financial management, employee management and development and many others.
