The Fair Work Commission Expert Panel made its Decision to increase the award and National Minimum Wage for the next financial year on Monday, 3 July.

Impact on VECTEA 2020 wages

As a result of the Annual Wage Review, some VECTEA 2020 graduate teacher and educator classifications will see an increase in their hourly rates to align with the rise in minimum rates in the modern awards. Please note that not all VECTEA classifications will be subject to these changes.

Any VECTEA wage increases will be reflected in ADP Payline and our July Wage Bulletins and will take effect from the first full pay period on or after 1 July.

Children’s Services Award to be further reviewed

The Fair Work Commission plans to commence additional proceedings to address gender pay undervaluation in specific awards, including the Children’s Services Award 2010 [MA000120].
