As the festive season approaches, it is important we take every possible measure to keep ourselves and our families safe on the roads. The holiday season is recognised as one of the most dangerous times for travel on Australian roads, with individuals losing their lives or experiencing severe injuries due to road crashes while traveling to visit friends and family.
The National Road Safety Partnership Program has an informative fact sheet you can share with your family and friends. It discusses the Fatal Five: speeding, intoxication (drugs and/or alcohol), failure to wear a seat belt, driver fatigue, and distraction. The fact sheet can be downloaded by CLICKING HERE.
