Ahead of what appears to be a challenging winter season, the state government has announced that Victorians will be able to access free flu vaccinations.
For the month of June, all Victorians over six months of age will be able to get free flu vaccines at GP clinics and pharmacies.
There have been 148 Victorians hospitalised with the flu this year, 65 of whom are children.
More than 3,000 clinics will take part in the vaccine rollout to make it easier and more accessible for people to keep themselves safe.
