ELAA together with peak bodies Community Child Care Association and Community Early Learning Australia have developed a 6 Point Plan for Education and Care to deliver:
- high quality education and care for children
- better wages and conditions for educators
- access to high quality education and care for families when they need it, delivered by qualified educators
- opportunities for all parents and carers to work.
The plan, a key element of our joint federal election advocacy, is a blueprint for government to deliver enduring results for Australia’s children, their families and our valuable workforce.

Free election forum
The three peaks are holding an Election Forum on Tuesday 5 April from 7.00 – 8.30pm where representatives from the major parties will respond to the Plan.
