Exciting news! The Skilling an Adaptable Early Childhood Education and Care Workforce (SAEW) Project is preparing for launch in February 2024. ELAA is thrilled about the journey ahead alongside our project partners, as we look to build workforce capacity in the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector.

The SAEW Project is set to strengthen the workplace skills, capabilities, and career pathways of early childhood educators by introducing industry focused e-learning training modules. These modules will complement early childhood qualifications and arm participants with skills, responding to the workplace capability requirements of the ECEC sector and the educational needs of children.

In addition to the E-Learning Training Modules, our SAEW Community Hub is taking shape. The hub will be an interactive online space where participants can connect with their ECEC community peers and share experiences and expertise, build professional networks and access support as they undertake the training modules.

Twelve of the E-Learning Training Modules have been fully developed and are now being tested in preparation for launch. The Community Hub is also edging closer to completion, with final touches being implemented to provide the best user experience for participants. Together, these initiatives will equip early childhood educators with the skills and support networks needed for a seamless start to their careers, while also opening pathways for continuous professional growth in the ECEC sector.
