Shaping Our Future is a ten-year National Children’s Education and Care Workforce Strategy (2022 – 2031), that recognises the complexity of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector’s workforce challenges and includes a ‘call to action’ for stakeholders to work towards agreed goals.
In July 2023 ACECQA published an online dashboard to track progress against the Strategy’s 21 nationally agreed actions. The dashboard includes complementary initiatives that support the six focus areas of the National Workforce Strategy plus an implementation tracker and a summary of how the 21 nationally agreed actions are tracking. The dashboard will be updated again in April 2024.
