13 DecSummer safety information from The Royal Children’s Hospital

Posted on 13 Dec 2023

Summer is a time where we spend time in the sun, often by the water and children have new toys to play with. It is also a time where children can get hurt.

The Royal Children’s Hospital has developed some new guidance material called Spotlight on summer safety. The material discusses sun protection, burns first aid, hot weather, choking first aid and water safety. You can find the RCH material by CLICKING HERE. This is a great resource to share this with your families and friends.

The RCH material includes a video featuring Associate Professor Warwick Teague, Director of Paediatric Trauma at the RCH. Warrick also features in our Car Seats Save Lives video www.carseatssavelives.org.au.
