Following the announcement of a $9billion investment by the Victorian State Government into Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), it was announced that there would be 50 new government built and run ECEC centres; with the aim to locate the centres at, or alongside, schools, hospitals, TAFEs and other major employers to make childcare accessible and convenient for working parents and carers. 

As the 2025 rollout of Pre-Prep approaches, ELAA wanted to remind our members of the announced locations for the 50 new ECEC centres.  

Confirmed 2025 locations: 

Moomba Park Primary School 

Sunshine Primary School 

Eaglehawk North Primary School 

Murtoa College 

Government-owned and government-run childcare centres have also been confirmed for the following locations:
