02 AprCORONAVIRUS (COVID 19) ONLINE FORUM HAS NOW BEEN RE-SCHEDULED

Posted on 02 Apr 2020

Sincere apologies to our members and friends who attempted to join the online Forum with Vic DET Assistant Deputy Secretary (Early Childhood Education), Kim Little, this morning.

The Forum has been rescheduled to Monday, 6 April commencing 2.30 p.m to 3.30 p.m (AEST)
Today’s Forum encountered unforeseen technology issues. Unfortunately, many social networking and telecommunications connection issues and drop-outs are being experienced across the country due to heavy use and bandwidth limitations.

ELAA will be speaking to our network and communications suppliers throughout today to avoid any possibility of this occurring again.

The event will be rescheduled for next Monday, 6 April between 2.30 p.m and 3.30 p.m (AEST)

Given it is likely the National Cabinet meeting this Friday will include discussion on further assistance for the early childhood sector, the outcomes of that meeting can now be considered at our re-scheduled online Forum on Monday.

To participate in this online forum:
The forum is free and there is no need to register. Connect via Zoom using this link https://zoom.us/j/959811757 or join the meeting direct from your Zoom application by entering the Meeting ID: 959 811 757. If you don’t have Zoom you can dial in for audio only by calling 03 7018 2005 and enter the meeting ID: 959 811 757. Please ensure you have your computer or phone on mute upon entering the forum and remain on mute for the duration of the session.

Questions from members that were selected for response during this morning’s Forum will be held over for Monday.

We apologise sincerely for the cancellation of today’s event and look forward to speaking with you all on Monday.

Regards
David Worland
CEO – ELAA
