A recent advice from the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) has reminded services to remind families that they need to report their incomes to Services Australia for the “balancing” of Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Families must confirm their income after the end of each financial year to ensure they are paid the right amount of CCS.
This “balancing” process is underway for two financial years – the 2018–19 financial year and the 2019–20 financial year.
Last year, the first deadline for the 2018-2019 financial year was extended because of COVID-19.
