11 AugFREE Three-Year-Old Kindergarten seminar: maximising children’s participation
The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) is hosting an online seminar for early childhood teachers and educators on supporting children’s participation ahead of the introduction of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten.
Ahead of the state-wide introduction of two years of funded kindergarten from 2022, this online seminar will share insights and practice stories from educators who have successfully led changes in their services that contribute to greater access by and participation of children.
In a discussion facilitated by early childhood expert, Catharine Hydon, the panel of experienced practitioners will share their approaches to implementing change, offer practical ideas to address challenges, and highlight the way they have contributed to increasing children’s access and participation.
