Victoria’s Education Minister, James Merlino, has announced that all staff in all Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) settings will need to have their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination by 18 October and be fully vaccinated by 29 November.
A grace period will apply for a week beginning 18 October in which ECEC staff will need to either have had their first vaccine, organised a vaccination booking for within a week or received a medical exemption.
