14 JulTerm 3 governance training for committees of management

ELAA’s term 3 governance training calendar is out and sessions are now opened for registration.

We invite all committee of management to attend these live webinar sessions and join us for the latest updates and information that will support you to manage the early childhood service and fulfil your responsibilities as an incorporated association.

This term, we are highlighting the “Ending the Year on a High – AGM and Handover” training as many committees would be planning for their AGM. This session will provide the background to the need for the AGM and the process of putting one together including tips on recruitment and the nomination process. We will also focus on the handover process which is key to ensuring a smooth transition.

The other topic that we will be conducting is the Financial Management session. Financial management is something all committee members are responsible for. This session will equip committees, treasurers and finance subcommittees with the tools they need to keep their services financially viable.

Last term’s Employee Management and Development webinar saw a large turn out of participants from all over the country and we are looking forward to having another successful session in Term 3. Did you know that ELAA’s Employee Management and Development resource is tied closely to Quality Area 4 and 7 and is a recommended ACECQA resource? Come along to learn how to use the resource effectively and support your employees with their professional development.

Each session will have the opportunity for interaction with fellow committee members and also Q&A where you can ask questions.
