Upcoming Governance Sessions – ‘Program and Timetable Models’ and ‘Ending the Year on a High’
Program and Timetable Models
This drop-in session is designed to support Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services in developing effective models and timetables that help them achieve the following objectives:
- address the needs of children, families, and the community
- ensure the service’s long-term sustainability
- adhere to applicable industrial and employment regulations
- meet new legislative and funding criteria
- implement government policies regarding the provision of ECEC services, including the phased implementation of three-year-old kindergarten.
About our presenters
ELAA’s Member Solutions team members bring specialist skills and extensive experience to these sessions. With backgrounds in management of early childhood services, industrial relations, human resource management, and early childhood teaching, they understand the challenges that Committees of Management face.
Presented by ELAA in partnership with the Victorian Department of Education.

This free session will cover:
Effective Annual General Meetings (AGM):
- constitutional requirements
- committee recruitment
- planning the meeting
- agenda and reports
- committee elections
- strategies to encourage attendance.
The handover process:
- preparation
- essential information to be passed on
- the meeting.
