Be You Professional Learning fulfils the requirements for professional development for educators. It also fulfils management committees’ requirements to provide Professional Development for their educators.

Be You Professional Learning

Be You is built around a content framework which gives educators a structure for their professional learning.

Be You Professional Learning consists of content modules grouped under the five domains centred around Mentally Healthy Communities. Educators can start wherever it suits them, or their early learning service or school, best: the framework is not linear.

When you register with Be You, you will have access to a personal dashboard giving you full access to the Professional Learning modules and enabling you to track your progress. Each module contains several topics. To complete a module you need to read all the topic content and watch the videos.

The professional learning is supported by a range resources to assist educators translate their learning to their educational setting.

Be You alignment with professional learning requirements

Each module meets the requirements for teacher-identified professional learning in all states and territories.  Modules are aligned to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and contribute to one (1) hour of professional learning.

At the start of each module there are links to National Priorities and under the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers you will find the specific links to the knowledge and practice required for these standards.

Gaining accreditation and recognition from the Be You Professional Learning

To gain recognition for your professional learning registered teachers must ensure they have added their teacher registration number and state/ territory to the Be You My Profile page. When a module is completed a certificate will be awarded.
