15 Dec‘Building Blocks’ inclusivity grants now open for applications
If your service is looking for funding to upgrade facilities, or purchase equipment, to provide safe and inclusive environments for children of all needs and abilities the Victorian Government has two categories of grants now available for application:
- Buildings and playgrounds: these grants fund infrastructure upgrades of up to $200,000 to make kindergarten activities more accessible to children of all abilities
- Equipment: these are grants of up to $10,000 for moveable inclusive education equipment, such as mobility stools and sensory equipment for kindergarten programs.
Applications
Applications for both categories of the inclusion stream open on Monday 14 December 2020 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 28 February 2021.
Building Blocks Grants replaces previous grants schemes – the Children’s Facilities Capital Program and the Inclusive Kindergartens Facilities Program.
