Membership renewals

2021/ 22 ELAA memberships are now open for renewal. To renew your membership please log into the members section of the ELAA website you will see a link to complete your renewal. We well send out further reminders over the coming weeks but I encourage you to renew your ELAA membership as soon as possible to ensure you remain supported on service management, workplace relations, health and safety, payroll, policy, and advocacy issues and receive great discounts on quality resources like PolicyWorks plus goods and services provided by our Preferred partners. Embracing Equality

As a proud LGBTIQ+ ally, ELAA is proud to have recently become a signatory organisation to the Embracing Equality Charter and Pledge . The Embracing Equality Group, a group of 17 leading Victorian service sector peak bodies, launched the Embracing Equality website on Monday to coincide with IDAHOBIT Day. The Pledge shows a commitment to embrace equality and work to end the discrimination experienced by LGBTIQ+ Victorians. If you’re a Victorian-based service provider, we encourage you to sign the Pledge via the home page of the Embracing Equality website as a commitment to ensuring LGBTIQ+ people receive safe and affirming services. National Workforce Survey

The deadline for the ACECQA National Workforce Survey is 31 May. Your views on actions and initiatives that you believe will assist in improving the supply, retention and quality of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector workforce are needed so I really encourage you to complete this survey. Professional Development

ELAA has some varied and inspiring professional development sessions coming up over the next few weeks including sessions on harnessing data for managing early learning services; working with families and children to safely use digital technology; and governance fundamentals for Early Childhood Education and Care services.
