27 MayChanges to the exceptional circumstances supplementary payment
Following extensive advocacy by ELAA and other peak bodies, eligibility for the Exceptional Circumstances Supplementary Payment has been expanded. The payment is now available to services which that have 30 per cent or more Full-Time Equivalent current employees who are not eligible for JobKeeper and where the provider or service has not applied for or received another Exceptional Circumstance Supplementary Payment for these employees. Current employees means those employed by the provider during the reference period and from 18 May 2020 onwards.
Exceptional Circumstance Supplementary Payments made to services, which had 30 per cent or more of their full-time equivalent employees ineligible for JobKeeper, will be backdated to 18 May 2020.
